I’m new to sewing and trying to make the kuspuk from your pattern. I was wondering if you have videos or color photos of the steps. I’m confused at some of the sewing steps.

I bought Friday’s Kuspuk pattern yesterday. Could you direct me to instructions for modifying the pattern to make a zippered front Kuspuk with a lined hood
for my husband who wears XL? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated – I hope to surprise him with a kuspuk for Christmas – doesn’t leave me much time but I can only be optimistic. Thank you.
Hi Helen and Merry Christmas! The fastest way is to purchase the latest printing which includes the pattern piece needed to make a coat version. I think I described the process somewhere here in the blog. I do not recall. I’m traveling right now and don’t have access to the photos I would need to explain how to do it. Ideally you need to face the zipper so that it hangs nice. The facing piece and instructions are in the newest version of the pattern. I’ll email you too.
Will you be posting a video of the zipper installation? I’m trying to figure this out as I’m not very good with zippers in regular sewing. I’m afraid I’ll mess this up. – Vicky
